Dylan knows how to turn.

Dylan turns 5 months old on 2 September 2008.

Ah Ma was commenting that Dylan is trying to turn yet is having difficulty pulling his hands out so it was always without success when he tried to turn to his side.
So it was after bathe and Mummy placed him on the bed to dress him. Mummy urged him to turn so that she can apply moisturizer onto his back. He seems to understand and started to arch his body, hands and feets towards the side.
And Wow Lah, he flip over without much difficulty. Mummy was so happy upon seeing that and kept praising him.
Now, he is most enjoying turning around whenever he is placed on the bed or mattress.
Daddy, it's time to lower the baby cot to prevent Dylan from flipping over.

Thomas saves the Day.

As promised, Damien, the day is not over.

In the evening we went to watch the Thomas & Friends show at Singapore Expo.

Damien was so excited and kept saying 'Thomas Thomas' especially when the No. 1 train came onto stage. He jumped up and down and even go along with the crowd shouting ' Choo Choo'.

Mummy was amazed that he is also aware of the names of the other trains when he shouted 'Diesel' and 'Percy'. Hee hee. must be the after effects of watching so many Thomas videos.

Mummy felt that this is a better show when compared to Barney as she has also enjoyed herself. It is indeed a wise decision to come especially when Damien was beaming with joy and excitement.

And as an added bonus, Mummy even bought a Thomas train railway set for him at the John Little Sale next door. Upon reaching home, he immediately took it out to show his Ah gong, Ah Ma, Ah gu, ah yee who happen to come visit. He was screaking with joy when he see the motor going along the railway tracks and forgotten that it was way past his bedtime.

What a exciting day it indeed was !!!

Thinking of Thomas all the time.

Enjoying the show with Daddy and Mummy.

Bring Your Kid Day

On the morning of 4 Sept 2008, mummy brought Damien along to work for Auntie Ee Lin's Bring your Kid Day event.

Mummy says there will be many Gor Gor Jie Jie to play with me and great foods and games to enjoy too.

We had breakfast at MacDonald's first with Auntie Ee Lin and Naomi Jie Jie who happened to be there for their breakfast as well. After saying bye bye to Daddy, we proceeded to Mummy's office at Tampines Call Centre.

When we reached, there were instead many Gor Gor and Jie Jie and Damien was immediately being swept off by them to the Rest & Relax Room. Accordingly to reliable sources, he was being ' touched' all over him as they were all smitten with him especially by his big s round eyes.

Auntie Faridah's girl, Jie jie Emman even asked her mummy " Can we buy Damien home?"
and Auntie Stephanie's son, Gor Gor Gearoid told her that he wants Damien.

So Auntie Faridah and Auntie Stephanie, time to consider another child !!!!

Damien is very well-behaved that day and did not disturbed Mummy while she worked. He made many friends and had a fun time. By the time we left at 12.30pm, he was so tired that he fell asleep immediately during the ride home.

Hang on Damien, the day is not over. More exciting activities coming up in the evening!!!

Sick Boys

Both Princes are brought to see Dr Cecilia today.

They have been sick for sometime now and has not recovered from the longstanding cough and running nose.

Damien even have to take an X-ray to check on his lungs. Dr Cecilia informed that he has asmatic cough and he has a pneunmonia patch in his lungs. So he needs to be on 2 weeks ofantibiotics. She even put him on the neubaliser to ease the phlegmn in his lungs.
Damien is so scared when taking the X-ray. He cried upon seeing the machine and was so afraid to lie down on the X-ray table. He was clinging to mummy for dear life. When we asked him to say Bye bye to the radiologist, he did not want to which is so unlike him. The radiologist jokingly said that he must have been angry with her that he does not even want to say bye bye. Ha ha. could it be truth that the good-natured Damien also has a temper.
Upon returning to the clinic after the X-ray procedure, Damien neede to take the neubaliser. Another ordeal again with him struggling and crying and shouting 'pain pain'. Mummy and the nurse had a hard time pacifying him with promises of toys, sweets and TV shows to entice him to go through the whole thing.
Sigh........... Please get well soon. then mummy won't have so much heart pains to see both of you suffering like this.

RSAF Open House

30 Aug 2008-RSAF Open House at Paya Lebar Airbase

Rise and shine early in the morning at 7am and Daddy was rushing everyone to get ready to go to the RSAF Open House. Daddy is so KIASU (typical Singaporean). He was hoping to get there early to secure a car park lot before the crowd arrive.

Indeed upon arrival we had a breeze finding a carpark and walk a short distance to the entrance of the display area. Smart of Daddy to be early (at the expense of breakfast !!!) However in our rush, Mummy forgotten to pack fans, caps and sunblock lotion for our Princes.

It was such a scorching hot day and before long, Damien was sweating wet and flushing red from all the suntanning. As for Dylan, lucky for his Botak head, he is not sweating as much. And Ah Ma was busy using the umbrella to shade both of them as much as she can from the fiery sun.

At around 10.15am, we decided to proceed to the grand stand to watch the aerial display peformance. Both of them are not frightened by the tremendous jet sounds made by the F-16 fighter jets when they took off. What brave boys both of them are !!!

Afterwhich we went to see each of the helicopters and fighter jets n display. Despite the Q, we manage to view the interiors of the C-130 and KC-135 to have a feel of a military plane.

What a long and tired day we had. We then went home at 12 pm. Both boys had such a long and sounding nap at home. Mummy also took this chance and had a long awaited nap as well.

We look forward to the next visit in 2 year's time.

Mummy, Daddy where are we? Why are there so many people here !!!!

Yummy Yummy

Starting to feed Dylan with semi solids since he is into his fifth months now.
He really enjoys food and he can be seen muching his mouth with food near his sight. Thisis especially so when he see his brother having his meal.
He will reach out his hands wanting to have a share of what is being served even at the dinner table.
Less haste with less speed, Dylan. you will have your fair share in time to come !!!!

Riding my first Tricycle

Damien's grandfather got him a bicycle some time back. However it is too big for him to ride. And upon seeing his difficulties in riding it, he went to buy a tricycle for him too.

So mummy have been trying to teach him how to ride the tricycle. Yet everytime he will end up using his legs to push the tricycle along.

Finally, he surprise me the other day by riding it on his own instead of pushing with his legs.

I am so proud of him. Good Job !!! Damien.

See his cheeky smile after being praised.
